We were delighted to be invited to the Tag Heuer factory for an exclusive vintage dealer day. The brand gave us a talk about the importance of the Heritage of Heuer, an insight in to the rise in prices of vintage models and predictions on how values are set to keep rising at a very steady rate. Then we had a tour of the new workshops which will be dedicated to the restoration of vintage Heuers’. This was particularly interesting to us as parts can be hard to find but when we were shown the comprehensive collections of original dials and bezels etc we were blown away!! finally a trip around the museum where there are some of the most important watches you could ever wish to see including a Monaco worn by Steve Mcqueen in Le Mans and an Autavia supplied by us!. The most exciting thing though is that at last Tag Heuer are getting right behind thier Heritage and will be servicing, restoring vintage watches which can only help to reinforce the value, collectability and ultimately investment of vintage Heuer.(Go to our facebook page for photo’s)
