This watch is a fine example of one of the most simplistic, yet strikingly beautiful Carrera dials ever produced by Heuer in the 1960s. This Carrera Dato 3147N, becoming increasingly less-frequent, superbly contrasts the luscious and highly sought after black dial with a white 45 minute totaliser subdial at 3 o’clock. The subdial is recessed in the dial and has concentric circular ridges. Situated oppositely at 9 o’clock is the subtle date window.
This version features both a screw-back case as well as a crown signed with the Heuer logo. In times where it is highly difficult to obtain such treasured pieces of Heuer history, the opportunity to purchase such a fine and all original Carrera 3147N is one which must not be missed.
