One of the most striking dials produced by Heuer in the brand’s golden age, the famous Autavia 11630 MH model incorporates a dazzling combination of orange and silver. True to the more experimental designs of the early ‘70s, this model from 1972 features bright orange hands against a creamy dial and sub dials which have aged from black to a unique and luscious brown. This watch’s legibility lends itself to such bold designs of which remain in great condition. This two-register chronograph features a date window at 6 o’clock as well as a rotating tachymeter bezel. Measuring at a standard 42mm, this Autavia sits with a real presence on the wrist. With regard to mechanical ability, this version is powered by a Calibre 12 automatic movement and remains in great working order. This totally unique version of the Autavia 11630 MH is an exciting collector’s piece which boasts a tremendous archetypical 1970s design: one of the most exciting periods in watchmaking.
