An outstanding example of one of Heuer’s unique military fly-back chronograph designs issued to the German Airforce. This example is powered by a manual wind 30 minute chronograph movement. One of this watch’s prominent features is its pilot’s spec fly-back function which ‘zeros’, sets and starts the chronograph with one push of the bottom button. From the range of intricate differences in design between Bund models, this example displays the plain large logo dial with what is referred to as the ‘cut off’ font. Ultimately this is a superbly crafted watch which incorporates functional, cutting-edge watchmaking with an alluring jet black display. Its presence on the wrist is spectacular and versatile for any occasion. This Heuer Bundeswehr 6645 is a watch that is becoming increasingly difficult to acquire in such fabulous condition.
