The Carrera 1553S was made circa 1972 and has the Heuer cal 15 movement. This self winding movement has a running seconds hand in an off set position at “10 o’clock”. To counter this positioning there is the superb band running across to the 9’0clock position with the word CARRERA in it, completely unique to this model which is so enjoyed by collectors. A very fine all original example, outstanding sun burst silver dial, all serviced and ready to wear and enjoy.
