The Royal Air Force obviously recognised the quality and durability of the Heuer Monte-Carlo rally timers. They ordered a quantity to be fitted in aircraft including Harrier jump jets. This example is fully marked on the side of the chrome body with typical RAF numbers including 6B which we see on pilots watches. The black back plate also is stamped with numbers and MOD arrow. The watch comes with the original storeroom packaging and instruction booklet.
