When Jack Heuer first introduced the Carrera in 1963 he stated that the clarity of the dial was of upmost importance. The ref3147S was produced around 1966 with a date at 9’oclock replacing the hour counter and is perhaps the clearest dial of all the Carrera range (the first attempt at putting the date on the Carrera had a date at 12 o’clock which was obscured by the chronograph hand, hence this re design)
This example is in all original condition, un polished and un restored. There are light signs of wear which would be expected on a watch this age, the movement is serviced and in fine working order, great value for a Heuer legend.
