Iconic simple chronograph, pure in design. Sometimes referred to as a pre Carrera it was in fact produced at the same time as the Carrera’s of the sixties and early seventies and was made to retail at a lower price, it was chrome plated as opposed to steel like it’s more famous and expensive stable mates. This watch shows some brassing to the case as we would expect from chrome plating but crucially the dial is in very good condition and on the watch has a great presence on the wrist. Crazy that this vintage Heuer will command less than a reissue!
